…we are still alive, we’re just buried in a mound of school work right now. We promise to resurface with new news and information within *4* months. (Holy cow, that’s only 16 weeks. I have more fingers and toes than that.)

Would you like to have a say in what music we’ll all be dancing to at the wedding?

Well, here’s your chance!

We are in the process of putting together a playlist for the reception, and would like input from you! Is there a danceable love song you really love? Something not too cheesy, but full of heart? Or, maybe, just something you want to cut a rug to?

Please leave the Song Title, and Artist in the comments section of this post; we would love to include as many of your suggestions as we can! Also, feel free to add any stories, or comments, as to why you chose the particular song.

Stories Page

Bill and I are slowly adding content to the different tabs you see on the top navigation bar, but we have a favor to ask of everyone. Under the Stories tab we would like you to add stories, or anecdotes, about us (alone or as a couple) that we will save and use in a yet-to-be-determined manner during the weekend. (Speaking of which, if you have any ideas for how to use the stories please let us know.) The stories can be funny, or not, substantial, or not, heartwarming, or not, all we ask is that they are what comes to mind when you think of Bill and I.

To add a story just “Leave a Reply” on the stories tab. We won’t be moderating them so everyone will be able to read them, and comment on them. If you have something you would like to share with us, but not with the entire guest list please feel free to email the story to us at billandandreagethitched@gmail.com .

To everyone who attended the wedding shower, and especially to Lissie and Adrienne who put it together, thank you so much for attending; it really meant a lot to both Bill & me. We can only hope that the wedding itself will be as much fun (and have as good food) as this first party.

Where in the world is Norrie, CO?

Though many of you may have already looked up where Norrie, and the Diamond J, are we thought we would provide some Google Maps (and Google Earth) information for you on this site.

First we have a Norrie.

For those of you with Google Earth, we have saved more precise waypoints to these location… but we don’t have an ftp server to let you download them easily (without joining Google Earth’s Community site). If you are interested in them just email us at billandandreagethitched@gmail.com, and we will send them to you. It’s a pretty neat little toy, and it is highly recommended!

An overview of what’s to come…

During the course of the next nine months Andrea & I will be using this space to share information about our wedding. We will give you information on events happening in, and around, Norrie. What might be on the menu. What might not be on the menu. We might take song suggestions for the reception. Or we might not. You will likely be treated to at least one humorous story. Maybe more.

From this blog we hope that you will get a better sense of what we have in mind.

I do know that Andrea wants lots of babies & kids running around at the wedding, so if you have ‘em bring ‘em. It is also going to be outdoors, so wear your sun hats & short heels. You are going to be sitting on bales of hay, and there will be lots of wild flowers on arch we are going to be standing under. Years from now you will be able to bring your kids to play on the swing that will be hanging from that arch.

People will be coming from all over the US (both coasts & the Midwest will be represented), so we will be using this space to help smooth that trip out for you. There will be a place coordinate rideshares, and another for roomshares. We will also have plenty of information on things to do while you are out there; since many of you will have to spend most, or all, of your vacation time to get out to Colorado.
