Pre & Post Wedding Activities

As we mentioned in the invitations, there will be a number of group activities that we will take place in the days leading up to, and possibly after, the wedding. Things that we have thought about include spelunking, hiking, rafting, and swimming. Are you interested in any of these? Is there something else you would like to do? Leave a comment on this page on any activities that interest you, so we can start to get a sense of group sizes.

There will also be plenty of opportunity for individual or small group activities as well (such as fishing, hiking, and shopping). Feel free to talk, or ask questions, about these as well.

Activities We Have Thought Of

• Thursday morning at The Glenwood Caverns
  Cave Tour and Adventure Tour, thrill rides and attractions, restaurant, amazing view
• Thursday afternoon at the massive Hotsprings Pool
  This is both a great way to relax after crawling around through caves, and a heck of a lot of fun. Between hot springs & water slides, you can’t go wrong.
• Sunday or Monday Rafting down Glenwood Canyon
  There are a number of companies that guide groups through the canyon, and it’s something that I have always wanted to try. If there are enough people staying longer in the area who are interested this would be a great time.
• Friday and/or Sunday morning group hike.
  Where, and how long, will depend on the people who are interested – but there are tons of great trails for all levels, so let us know if you are interested!
